People in Naples remembered the life of a young flu victim on Saturday with a party. It would have been hard to miss if you were driving down Main Street there.
The reason for that party wore bright colors and a big smile.
11-year-old Madeline Barton was in Sixth Grade at Naples Elementary School when died from complications from the flu virus in February. The community marched Saturday in a "Maddie Gras" parade at the elementary school, and then held a barbecue afterward.
